OUR STORY

Automated Merchandising Systems (AMS) was founded in 1997,  by the late Roy Steeley. In 2000, a second plant was added in Guadalahara Mexico to support the growing customer demands. Innovation, reliability, and dependability are at the core of AMS. One example of innovation is when AMS revolutionized the vending world with “guaranteed delivery system” or “SENSIT”.  The AMS portfolio is renowned for durable, reliable, and dependable products.  AMS has continued to introduce new products to the industry that make customers more profitable and time efficient.

On November 2, 2022, AMS was acquired by Seaga Manufacturing Incorporated (SMI)  in Freeport, Illinois. The combination of Seaga and AMS brands significantly strengthen our product offerings to our customers and partners globally.
